Monica is an associate photographer at Bijou Photo who brings a thoughtful, people first approach to every session. With a background in education, event planning, and community engagement, she excels at creating a comfortable, relaxed environment that helps clients feel like their most authentic selves. Originally from Reno, Monica earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Oregon Tech before returning to her hometown to grow her career and stay close to family. Her calm presence, eye for detail, and genuine connection with people make her an invaluable part of the Bijou Photo team.

With over a decade of experience in fashion, film, television, theater, beauty, and bridal work in New York City, she brings a creative eye, calming energy, and attention to detail to every session. Shannon’s passion lies in helping clients feel confident, comfortable, and truly seen—both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She’s dedicated to creating a seamless, uplifting experience.
